ALOHA PARENTS!
I am so excited to have your child in my class this school year, and I can hardly wait to get to know each and everyone of them! In the mean time, here are just a few things about me. This past June, I got married so many of you may have know me as Ms. Carillo :) 

 

I am a Maui girl who never left Oahu after college! I graduated from Chaminade University with a B.S. in Elementary Education, minoring in Psychology. In December 2014, I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Chaminade University. My masters experience has brought me many opportunities to learn new and exciting activities to incorporate in the classroom. This will my 5th year teaching here at Webling and my 4th year teaching in 6th grade. My first year at Webling, I taught 4th grade, however prior to the DOE, I taught first grade for 7 years at Maryknoll Grade School.

During my free time, I like to keep a pretty active lifestyle. I love to workout at the gym and also enjoy running. Every year I run the Honolulu Marathon with my husband. I want my students to understand that exercise, eating right, and thinking positive are all the pieces they need to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy watching Netflix, and all the hit TV shows like This is Us & NCIS.
